Emergency Managment

Portage County Emergency Management has designated the Town Of Plover Facilities at 5077 And 5081 Hoover Avenue-South as Emergency Shelters (Cooling And Warming) in case of a DECLARED Emergency/Natural Disaster.

Utilities In these Town Buildings are supported with stand-alone natural gas fired generators that will provide electricity to support heating and cooling in the case of power interruptaion.  The buildings are also available for use as an Emergency Command Center by Portage County Emergency Response Personnel.
